Does it have to be a friend or neighbour recommendation? Does it have to depend on the nature and size of the real estate tranzaction?

Most of the homeowners in Miami Florida that use professional real estate agents services have a fair opinion. A good realtor is the agent we can trust to act in our best interest. S/he represents you in the real estate transaction. We need to trust both in her/his professional experience and skills.

There are few steps recommended in chosing a good realtor:

  1. Consult several agents that act in Miami area in order to pick one to work with
  2. ;

  3. Invite the realtor to visit your house in order to get a feel for how s/he will handle prospective buyers
  4. ;

  5. Ask prospective realtors how they plan to market your home
  6. ;

  7. Don’t sign any agreement with a realtor just because s/he suggests the highest asking price
  8. ;

  9. Negotiate the realtor’s commission prior to listing your home, and sign for a limited period of time-usually three to six months. The realtor has a financial obligation to act in your best interest.
